Ingredients of Turkish style: poached eggs with yogurt

  1. You need 2 of eggs.
  2. Prepare of I tsp butter.
  3. It’s 1/2 cup of greek yogurt(preffered) but you can use what you have.
  4. You need 1 tsp of mixed herbs.
  5. It’s 1 tsp of red chilli flakes.
  6. It’s 1 pinch of salt.
  7. You need 1 cup of water for poaching the eggs.

Turkish style: poached eggs with yogurt step by step

  1. Poach the eggs in one cup hot water..
  2. Melt the butter in a pan, immediately add in the chilli flakes, salt and the herbs..
  3. Add in 2 tbsp of water and mix.
  4. Do the assembling, first pour out the yogurt (i had the normal ilara at home so used it), then place the eggs on it and lastly spread the cooked spices.
  5. Serve with toasted bread as best accompaniment. Add a fruit to it for a balanced meal.
